The Aligned Professional

Welcome to The Aligned Professional, a course for professionals who are tired of the constant stress and feelings of burnout associated with the good works we do. It doesn't have to be this way. That's why Debra Battistella, MS, OTR/L and Heidi MacAlpine, OTD, M.ED, OTR have joined forces for a wonderful collaboration to support professionals in stepping out of stress and into calm confidence.

As part of our extensive experience along with our commitment to personal and professional development and continuous learning, we want to address the current challenges voiced by healthcare and education professionals such as stress, trauma, and burnout due to workload capacity exceeding tolerance levels.

Much of our learning has been around understanding nervous system regulation, emotional intelligence, trauma, healing, and the impact of stress on our emotional and physical well-being.

The longer we work in practice, the more we question the lag in integrating this important information, so Heidi and I are here to do something about it.

We’d be thrilled to have you join us in this forward motion towards change!
